Hong Kong and Macau 4D3N Trip- Day 1

It was a big mistake to make the trip so short, but it was a good experience too. For the first timer to travel outside the country, we booked the air tickets from air asia last year during promotions. By considering the accommodation's fees and we thought that 3 days should be enough, we booked tickets that depart at 4.45pm and reached HK at night (roughly 4 hrs from Malaysia). I can tell this is a big mistake @.@ There are lots of good food to taste and a lots of nice place to visit, 3 days are just not enough. But anyway, i do enjoy the trip to the fullest :)

We booked an hotel (Hung Hom Bridal Tea House, Wuhu street) and it cost roughly rm 200++ per night (because we made the booking at last minutes :p) or else it might be cheaper. We reached HK at around 9+pm and bought Airport Express Travel Pass cost HKD 300 per pass. Personally feel that it is worth for travelers who do not wish to sign up any tour packages later on. The pass includes 2 ways of airport transfer, 3 days unlimited travels on MTR, Light rail and MTR buses and u also can top up some money into the pass and use it as octopus card, HKD 50 and the remaining value in the pass will be returned to you once you return the card to the counter. (Remember to take the Travelling guides at Airport before heading to airport express station)

It took around 20 to 30 min to reach Kowloon station from airport (Route: Airport>>Tsing Yi>> Kowloon>>Hong Kong) and then we took the free airport express shuttle bus service (K1) to reach Hung Hom MTR station. From there, we took around 15-20min to walk to the hotel (actually it just need 10min walk from Hung Hom MTR to Bridal Tea House).

It's true! The room is small but i was amazed that they can fully utilized every single space. The length of the bed is about my height around 169cm, those who are taller, ermm...I have no idea on what you can do..haha..probably ask for a bigger room??XD This is how's our room looks like..

We were so hungry and hence out for hunting. Hmph...most of the shops were closed, so we ended up eating at a Char Chan Ting (Restaurant) name HonoLulu Restaurant. We ordered a set cost HKD 30 which include a bowl of pork slices Ramen and a cup of hot Milk Tea.

HK Style Milk Tea- Great! I LIKE it ^^v
 Pork Slices Ramen

The ramen and soup just taste OK but the pork slices taste GREAT and it was a bit chewy. After the supper, we walked back to hotel and get a good sleep. Prepare for tomorrow-Macau..
